Coordinator Equipment Dispatch
- Daily monitoring and release of equipment for all depots and terminals to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Ensure customers receive the required equipment in a timely manner to meet their shipping needs.
- Reposition containers that are sold or designated for sale to the buyer.
- Plan and coordinate empty container movements via vessel, barge, and feeder services.
- Track and monitor overdue equipment to improve turnaround times and reduce idle inventory.
- Issue work orders for equipment repositioning by truck.
- Ensure all equipment is located at the correct and designated locations.
- Control equipment positioning costs and evaluate vendor performance.
- Handle customer inquiries related to equipment release and inventory availability.
- Manage equipment off-hire activities and cabotage processes.
- Monitor EPOS movements and correct discrepancies when required.
- Send release orders to local depots, including special instructions whenever required.
- Monitor long-standing import containers and notify Customer Service if necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing equipment flow and reducing costs.
- Basic work experience in liner shipping or freight forwarding.
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
- Strong operational and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and strong team spirit.
- Cost-conscious mindset with attention to operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of user application systems (FIS, COMPASS (if applicable))
- Experienced with MS Excel-Sheets.
- Fluent in Greek and English.
