Coordinates employer engagement and recruiting services for a university career center, managing communications, events, and data systems to connect students with employers.
The Coordinator of Employer Connections provides operational and administrative support for employer engagement and recruiting services for the Industry to Campus Connections team within the Center for Career & Professional Development. This position coordinates employer communications, recruiting operations, event logistics, data management and tracking, and process improvement initiatives to support a high-quality experience for employers, students, alumni, and campus partners.
The position will report directly to the Assistant Director, Industry Connections. This role works closely with the Center for Career & Professional Development team and across the University, employers, and alumni partners.
25%: Coordinate the team's employer engagement communications and operational workflows, including oversight of the recruiting inbox, development and maintenance of communication templates, employer correspondence, and timely responses to employer, student, and campus partner inquiries. Coordinate communication processes and standards to ensure a high‑quality and consistent employer experience.
20%: Oversee employer-facing recruiting services operations within Handshake and related systems, including job posting support, event coordination, employer contact management, and maintenance of employer and recruiting data. Maintain the Industry to Campus Connections website content and other employer-facing resources to ensure accurate and current information.
15%: Coordinate operational logistics for employer engagement activities, including information sessions, employer visits, tabling requests, on-campus interviews, and recruiting events. Collaborate with the Operations and Marketing team to support scheduling, communications, employer logistics, room reservations, and event execution.
15%: Generate, maintain, and analyze reports, tracking tools, and operational data related to employer engagement activities, recruiting services, and team initiatives. Utilize enterprise systems and reporting tools to support operational planning, data accuracy, and informed decision-making.
10%: Support the development, documentation, and implementation of operational processes, workflow improvements, communication templates, and team resources to promote consistency and operational
effectiveness across the Industry Connections team and the Center for Career & Professional Development. Assist with advisory committee logistics, including meeting coordination, documentation, and follow-up activities as needed.
10%: Provide cross-functional support for departmental initiatives and operational needs, including coverage and guidance for front desk operations as needed to ensure continuity of services and a positive experience for students, employers, alumni, and campus partners.
5%: Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, with at least one year of related experience.
• Senate Bill 1310- The Florida Senate (https://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2023/1310) is conditional upon meeting all employment eligibility requirements in the U.S.

• A public employer may include a postsecondary degree as a baseline requirement only as an alternative to the number of years of direct experience required, not to exceed:
(a) Two years of direct experience for an associate degree;
(b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree;
(c) Six years of direct experience for a master’s degree;
(d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or
(e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
