JOB SUMMARY
The OSP Engineering Coordinator will play a key role in supporting and coordinating the engineering group at Ezee Fiber. This individual should possess a positive and friendly demeanor; be a team- and goal-oriented person; be capable of self-direction; and possess and execute excellent time management skills. This individual should demonstrate the ability to work under minimal supervision with some latitude for independent judgment. Additionally, they should possess the ability and desire to work with new and evolving technologies and processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Compile daily project progress reports and distribute them to various business units.• Manage vendors and ensure that their deliverables are of high quality.• Responsible for implementing new processes and tracking progress.• Requests and Creations for Purchase Orders• Create Enterprise Job Numbers for Status Tracking and Reporting• Provide direct support to Engineering Department Leadership, vendor, and contractors• Point of contact and communications for the entire Engineering department• Verify vendor invoicing and changing orders• Assist with escalations and various internal research• Attend utilities coordination meetings• Performs other related duties and administrative duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and experience requirements: An Associate Degree in a related field (preferred) or a high school diploma or equivalent (required). Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience. • Strong organizational skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain a structured work environment. • Excellent communication skills: Clear and concise verbal and written communication to interact with colleagues, clients, and vendors. • Attention to detail: Ability to accurately perform tasks with a high level of precision. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Experience in programs like Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. • Time management skills: Effectively managing deadlines and prioritizing tasks to meet time-sensitive requirements. • Adaptability: Ability to handle changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment. • Interpersonal skills: Building positive relationships with the engineering team and vendors • Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision with some latitude for independent judgment• Problem-solving abilities: Identifying and resolving any issues• Excellent communication and written skills: Ability to clearly communicate information to leadership and engineering team. • Problem-solving abilities: Identifying and resolving any issues
PHYSICAL, FIELD, OR ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
