Coordinator- Workplace Safety & Health (WSH)

Designation : Coordinator (WSHC)
Location: Changi Airport
Average working hours not exceeding 44 hours per week, excluding lunch break.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor workplace safety and health activities at the project site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with WSH regulations, safety procedures and project requirements.
• Identify potential hazards, assess risks and recommend appropriate control measures.
• Monitor contractors’ and subcontractors’ compliance with safety requirements.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, attendance records and other required documentation.
• Report safety incidents, unsafe practices and major defects to the relevant project personnel.
• Coordinate safety briefings, toolbox meetings and other WSH-related activities.
• Update inspection findings, safety records and work progress through the designated reporting system.
• Liaise with project teams and contractors to ensure safe site operations.
• Perform other site safety coordination duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications in Workplace Safety and Health.
• Relevant experience in WSH coordination, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of WSH regulations and safety practices.
• Able to conduct site inspections, identify hazards and prepare safety reports.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Must attend the required site induction and airport safety courses and pass the relevant assessments before commencing work.
