Copilot Technical lead

Experience

• The candidate should have 7 years of overall IT experience with hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform and AI-driven solutions.
• Minimum 12 years of hands-on experience in developing AI Agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying Copilot Studio Agents for business use cases.

Technical Skills & Requirements

AI & Copilot Studio Expertise

• Good understanding of AI concepts, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI Agent architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio for building and configuring AI Agents.
• Experience working with:
• Topics and Generative Answers
• Agent instructions and prompts
• Knowledge sources
• Actions and tools
• Variables and entities
• Authentication and security
• Agent testing and debugging
• Understanding of Copilot Studio capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
• Experience integrating Copilot Studio Agents with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 Copilot, websites, and other channels.
• Ability to configure and maintain knowledge sources such as SharePoint, Dataverse, websites, and enterprise documents.
• Basic understanding of AI Agent orchestration and tool/action-based workflows.
• Awareness of emerging Microsoft AI capabilities and Copilot Studio feature updates is preferred.

Microsoft Power Platform Expertise

• Good hands-on experience with Power Automate for creating workflows and business process automation.
• Experience creating and consuming cloud flows from Copilot Studio Agents.
• Working knowledge of Power Fx and its application within Power Platform solutions.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, including tables, columns, relationships, choices, and lookups.
• Experience working with SharePoint as a data source and knowledge source.
• Understanding of Power Platform environments, solutions, environment variables, connection references, and solution deployment.
• Experience integrating Copilot Studio with third-party applications and external systems using connectors, APIs, or Power Automate.

Integration & API Skills

• Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, authentication, and API integration patterns.
• Experience using standard and custom connectors within Power Platform.
• Ability to integrate AI Agents with external applications and enterprise systems.
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as API keys, OAuth, and Microsoft Entra ID is preferred.

Programming Skills

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or another programming language.
• Ability to understand and work with APIs, JSON payloads, and integration logic.
• Programming experience for automation, data processing, or AI-related integrations will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI Agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Translate business requirements into effective conversational and AI-driven solutions.
• Configure knowledge sources and improve Agent responses through appropriate grounding and prompt design.
• Build integrations between Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint, and external applications.
• Develop reusable actions, workflows, and components for Copilot Studio solutions.
• Perform Agent testing, debugging, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in solution design, technical discussions, code/configuration reviews, and deployment activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, solution documentation, and implementation guides.
• Follow Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio development and governance best practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable AI solutions.
