Core Network integration Engineer
Summary
A Core Network Integration Engineer in North Sydney who integrates 5G/telco core and mission-critical communications systems for future automated train control. Day to day involves designing and testing network integrations using IP networking, SIP/VoIP unified communications, and virtualised/containerised environments.
This is an exciting opportunity contribute to the development of next-generation communications infrastructure that will support future automated train control systems. You'll work as part of a highly collaborative engineering team, solving complex technical challenges and developing innovative solutions at pace. The role requires a combination of strong technical capability, systems thinking and excellent stakeholder engagement to successfully integrate complex telecommunications, mission-critical and operational systems.
You will possess:
- Experience in 5G/Telco core network technologies, integration and mission-critical communications environments.
- The ability to translate technical requirements into practical designs, integration solutions and test strategies.
- Strong understanding of IP networking principles and technologies.
- Experience with SIP, VoIP and related Unified Communications (UC) technologies.
- Experience working with virtualisation and containerised environments.
