Corporate Accountant

This role supports the financial operations, by performing accounting duties such as general ledger entries, reconciliations, reporting, and analysis. The accountant will play a key role in monthly close activities, quarterly reporting deliverables, etc.

• Prepare and analyze general ledger account reconciliations, recurring transactions, and reclass entries.
• Support the monthly closing process and quarterly reporting deliverables.
• Collect financial data for internal and external reporting packages.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and schedules.
• Prepare supplemental schedules for Fairfax and Annual Statement reporting.
• Monitor transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Compile and maintain reconciliations for corporate accounting activities (premium, loss, and expense-related).
• Provide ad hoc analysis and support special projects as needed.
