Corporate Actions Analyst

Summary

Process and administer corporate action events (dividends, stock splits, rights issues, etc.) in a securities operations/custody environment using Temenos T24 and Excel, ensuring accurate reconciliation and operational controls.

We are looking for a Corporate Actions Analyst to support the processing and administration of corporate action events within a securities operations or custody environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that corporate action events are processed accurately and on time, while supporting reconciliation, operational controls, internal stakeholders, and related projects.

Fresh graduates with an interest in banking, securities operations, custody, or financial markets are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and support corporate action events accurately and within required timelines.
  • Perform verification and authorisation of corporate action events in banking or securities systems such as Temenos T24.
  • Handle a range of corporate action events, including:
  1. Annual General Meetings (AGM) and Extraordinary General Meetings (EGM)
  2. Dividends and coupon payments
  3. Redemptions
  4. Rights and bonus issues
  5. Stock splits
  6. Cash and exchange offers
  7. Other asset servicing and tailored corporate action activities
  • Ensure transactions and activities are performed in accordance with established operational procedures, controls, standards, and guidelines.
  • Provide operational support and guidance to Front Office and internal stakeholders on corporate action-related enquiries.
  • Investigate and follow up on items relating to asset servicing suspense accounts.
  • Assist in resolving cash, stock, and reconciliation breaks in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with internal teams to investigate discrepancies and ensure proper resolution.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system enhancements, process improvements, and other ad-hoc projects.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records relating to corporate action processing and operational activities.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Candidates with up to 2 years of experience in Corporate Actions, Securities Operations, Custody Operations, Asset Servicing, or a related banking operations environment will have an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of securities, financial markets, or corporate action events would be advantageous.
  • Experience or familiarity with Temenos T24 or other banking/securities processing systems would be an advantage.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to investigate reconciliation differences and operational exceptions systematically.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with Front Office and other internal stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Willingness to learn and develop within securities and asset servicing operations.
