Office Location & Hybrid Model

Our office is in downtown Toronto, a 5-minute walk from Union Station.
We embrace a flexible hybrid work model, with teams in 2 times per month.

About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Analyst, Fund Accounting Onboarding to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, Onboarding, this role supports the onboarding, conversion, and valuation of investment funds, ensuring accurate setup and ongoing operational readiness.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of fund operations, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively across teams

What You’ll Do

Set up new funds in internal systems (Diamond) based on legal offering documents, including fee structures, expense accruals, and pricing procedures
Support fund conversions by liaising with previous administrators and importing historical data
Prepare and review valuation packages, including daily, weekly, and monthly NAV calculations
Ensure accuracy of pricing, corporate actions, dividends, and fund-specific accruals
Coordinate NAV delivery processes to clients and internal stakeholders
Maintain and update securities, including creating new securities and updating missing identifiers (e.g., RICs)
Research and prepare corporate action templates in accordance with fund documentation
Analyze and review corporate action templates prepared by the team
Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, clients, and auditors
Identify process improvement opportunities and escalate issues to management
Stay informed on regulatory and industry changes impacting fund operations

Post-secondary education
Strong understanding of investment fund operations
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Excellent customer service mindset

Nice-to-Haves / Assets

Professional designation (or in progress)
CSC or IFIC Mutual Funds Operations course
Experience with fund accounting systems (e.g., Diamond)
Prior experience in fund onboarding, conversions, or valuations
