Job Description:
As the Content Manager in our MGS team, you will inspire and inform internal audiences and engage our Associates with great storytelling around experiences that are of value. A key part of this role is content management, building a scalable process to house, create, update, and retire content used across the organization. You have excellent writing and editing skills, and can establish a professional, consistent message across a range of communications channels and audiences. Motivating the organization to adopt new experience-based mindsets and behaviors through communications.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree required (Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field preferred).
3-5 years of experience in a similar role preferably in content management. Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, Adobe and Poppulo.
Communication style that promotes the critical characteristics of experience narratives that balance practical and inspirational elements.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment managing multiple initiatives at once.
Results oriented and driven to achieve results.
Self-motivated with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
What will be your key responsibilities?
Oversee the development and distribution of all Associate facing communications (70,000+ Associates) in MGS. This will require a close partnership with functional and change communications teams.
Ensure all content adheres to our unified brand guidelines and follows our messaging/tone of voice.
Work effectively across teams in our functional Service lines to develop and manage content. Maintain a scalable, repeatable process for content input, development, and reviews.
Track and report content metrics and make recommendations to increase content's usage and impact. Provide developmental and copy-editing support that improves the content, structure, style, tone, and grammar of a variety of content types, including business narratives, emails, blogs, and presentations.
Support with the development and roll out of our new content management system. Post-go live, oversee day-to-day management of system including air traffic control of all email campaigns.
Analyze campaign performance. Leverage data & insights to help shift our communications strategies and approach.
Develop, implement, and own internal content calendar across MGS.
Drive best practices in user-focused communications.
Manage and build email campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills and experience updating, maintaining and owning a content management system that’s utilized by multiple partners.
