Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

Location: Binghamton, NY. This is a primarily on-site opportunity designed for attorneys who value in-person collaboration, strong client relationships, and being part of an engaged office environment. Limited flexibility may be available. We are open to relocation candidates, with potential relocation assistance considered based on the candidate.
Note: Candidates must have 3+ years of relevant legal experience in at least one applicable practice area and be admitted to practice in New York State or eligible for admission on motion with the ability to obtain admission promptly.

Job Description
- Advise and represent clients on a broad range of sophisticated legal matters within your area of practice
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, pleadings, transactional documents, estate planning materials, and other legal instruments as applicable
- Manage matters, deadlines, client communications, and strategic next steps with support from attorneys and professional staff
- Conduct legal research and translate complex issues into practical, clear recommendations
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, government agencies, and other parties
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups and offices to deliver comprehensive solutions
- Build trusted client relationships and take increasing ownership of matters as your practice develops
- Travel occasionally to courts, client locations, branch offices, or other sites as business needs require
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant attorney experience
- New York State bar admission or eligibility for admission on motion with the ability to obtain admission promptly
- Experience in one or more of the following: business and corporate law, real estate, trusts and estates, litigation, or labor and employment law
- General practice attorneys with directly relevant experience are also encouraged to apply
- Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong client-service mindset, professional judgment, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with standard legal and business technology
