Corporate Facilities Manager
At Utz Brands, we’re looking for a hands-on and results-driven Corporate Facilities Manager to join our team in Hanover, PA. In this role, you’ll oversee the maintenance and operational integrity of our facilities across multiple locations, ensuring our buildings, equipment, and systems remain safe, efficient, and fully compliant.
You’ll lead a small but impactful team while partnering cross-functionally to support daily operations and long-term facility improvements. This role is ideal for someone who thrives working independently, enjoys solving complex problems, and can also collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily maintenance operations across office buildings, distribution centers, and fleet assets
- Manage service requests, work orders, and completion tracking to ensure timely issue resolution
- Supervise and develop a team of 5–6 Facilities Maintenance Technicians
- Review and approve estimates, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor-related documentation
- Ensure all maintenance work meets safety, GMP, and food safety standards
- Prepare facilities for emergencies and support company growth initiatives, including new builds and acquisitions
- Conduct routine inspections, audits, and coordinate required system checks (e.g., fire safety)
- Develop and manage capital plans, budgets, and long-term facility improvement projects
- Source and manage vendor relationships in partnership with Purchasing and Operations teams
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reporting systems
- Identify and resolve facility-related issues quickly to minimize downtime and risk
- Support occasional after-hours calls or urgent facility needs as required
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of supervisory experience required; 7–10 years managing multi-site facilities preferred
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in facility, electrical, or industrial maintenance (manufacturing experience preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and controls is a plus
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and equipment maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Experience with building management systems and work order software
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and contribute within a small team
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and reporting tools
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (75 lbs with assistance) and work at heights as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training (Electrical, HVAC, Industrial Maintenance, etc.) preferred
- Flexibility to support business needs, including occasional after-hours communication
