About the Role
As a Corporate Facilities Specialist you will perform a wide range of tasks that support daily operations within the Corporate office environment. This role is essential to ensuring efficient shipping, receiving, mail services, facilities coordination, and overall workplace support at the Kohl’s Corporate office.
What You’ll Do
Receive, scan, check in, sort and deliver inbound freight from the truck to corporate associates
Coordinate outgoing packages and freight shipments.
Create UPS WorldShip domestic and international shipping labels.
Generate and provide CampusShip labels for corporate associates and stores shipping to corporate, vendors, or other stores.
Provide UPS ShipExec access to associates and act as system administrator for shipping needs.
Educate associates on using Trackpad to search, track, and set alerts for inbound packages.
Troubleshoot and resolve UPS Trackpad, ShipExec, and WorldShip issues.
Understand shipping regulations and educate associates on compliance (e.g., lithium batteries, alcohol, cosmetics).
Coordinate corporate-to-store shipments according to the published shipping calendar.
Meter, sort, and distribute U.S. mail.
Perform daily truck runs to area locations using a straight truck.
Perform daily mail runs to and from the Milwaukee Post Office using a cargo van.
Troubleshoot package delivery issues in partnership with associates and vendors; file claims as needed.
Organize products and stored items across all corporate buildings.
Organize, stock, and maintain the Supply Room.
Order shipping and office supplies.
Assist with record retention, filing, retrieval, and purging.
Collaborate with associates to coordinate conference room requests and update the S&R schedule.
Complete auditorium and conference room set-ups and tear-downs.
Move office furniture as requested.
Assemble or repair furniture, carts, or equipment as needed.
Maintain copy machines by replenishing paper and managing toner cartridge delivery and recycling.
Maintain and update routing directories as teams and locations change.
Monitor building access at dock entrances
Update and maintain UPS Trackpad, UPS WorldShip computers, UPS ShipExec, UPS CampusShip, and postage meter machines.
Log operational data to measure performance and support continuous improvement efforts.
Document and maintain best practices.
Drive process improvements to support associates, including tote programs, sample gaylords, hanger bins, pallets, Trackpad sorting at delivery, Vendor Fairs, BRG events, philanthropic efforts, and donations.

What Skills You Have
Required
Ability to work across all corporate shipping and receiving locations
Preferred
1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving and mail center processes
Ability to use power tools for minor furniture repair or assembly
Special Requirements
Experience with scissor lifts and electric pallet jacks

Physical/Cognitive Requirements
Physical activities, including walking, standing, reaching, pushing, pulling, carrying and bending frequently
Moderate lifting of 50-75 lbs. of packages and totes from the ground up to six feet
Pulling or pushing delivery carts weighing up to 300 lbs.
Furniture and cabinet lifting to 150 lbs.
Flexibility in scheduling during peak times
Ability to use a ladder
