Summary
Handles daily banking, trade finance, and loan operations for a corporate client, including LCs, BGs, and working capital financing, while coordinating with banks and internal teams.
Position: Corporate Finance Associate
Location: Tanjong Pagar
Working Days: Monday – Friday (5 days)
Working Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Salary: $5,000 – $8,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in handling the company’s daily banking and financing matters, including banking facilities, working capital loans, and trade financing activities.
- Liaise with banks and financial institutions on daily financing matters, including financing applications, document submissions, loan drawdowns, and renewals.
- Assist in preparing financing-related documents, including financial information, operational data, banking forms, and supporting materials.
- Support trade finance operations, including Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Trust Receipts (TR), import financing, and other banking facilities.
- Assist in maintaining financing records, loan schedules, repayment tracking, and filing of financing documents.
- Coordinate with the finance team on fund arrangements, data consolidation, and basic financing cost analysis.
- Assist in handling finance-related administrative and reporting work, including report preparation, data compilation, documentation, and internal coordination.
- Monitor banking policies and financing market developments to support the company’s financing activities.
- Assist in maintaining day-to-day communication with banks, financial institutions, and external business partners.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in banking facilities, trade finance, finance, or related fields.
- Familiar with basic banking loan and trade finance processes, including LC, BG, TR, and working capital financing facilities.
- Familiar with bank term sheets, trade financing, and bank loans.
- Experience in the commodity trading industry is required.
