Corporate Lawyer (On-site)

Primary Function: Act as an in-house corporate lawyer, working with a team of lawyers and legal administrative assistants of the Legal Department, to render legal services in a variety of legal practice areas. This will cover the fields of corporate and commercial practice, general counseling, banking and finance, real estate and property management, litigation and arbitration (commercial, civil, criminal, and administrative), labor and employment, immigration, and taxation.

Qualifications:

• A candidate must be a certified passer of the Philippine bar.
• Required language(s): English
• At least 5 years of legal practice or exposure to corporate and commercial laws is required for this position. Candidates with 6-10 years of legal practice will also be entertained.
• It would be preferable if the candidate had worked in a law firm handling various tasks on corporate/commercial practice, taxation practice, immigration practice, or litigation practice.
• With relevant working experience and knowledge in corporate laws, immigration laws and procedures, taxation laws, labor law and litigation (criminal and civil cases).
• With relevant working experience in dealing with government agencies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission, Bureau of Immigration, Department of Labor and Employment, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Department of Foreign Affairs, local governments, etc.
• A plus factor if candidate has relevant working experience and exposure in dealing with offshore companies or foreign companies (companies formed outside of the Philippines).

• Willing to be assigned in Makati City.
