Job Purpose\:

To process Corporate Loans Warehouse and ESCROW accounts management activities to avoid any potential losses and to safeguard the Bank rights.

Job Description\:

1.Conduct the pre-planned visits to the warehouses to achieve the targeted plan on quarter base and prepare a detailed report with the findings for further action and follow up.

2.Prepare timely reports that show input, output, quantity and value of the periodically reviewed inventory in order to have accurate data.

3.Handling the Process of calculating the Loanable value for cotton cases & Warehouse customer’s, fees & commission & process the transaction of it on system.

4.Respond promptly to the received inquiries to confirm the outstanding balances to facilitate workflow and mitigate any risk.

5.Ensure completeness of the monthly warehouses certificates submitted by corporate side mitigating financial loss.

6.Check all related monthly/frequently transactions within the approved TAT and in alignment with relevant policies and procedures.

7.Proper indexing and Custody for documentation kept at department vault (loans and settlement agreements, promissory notes, commercial registers, power of attorney, guarantee types/checks).

8.Extract Escrow Accounts transactions movement from T24 on Excel Sheet to split its balance among the agreement parties’ transactions to company accounts according to escrow agreement split percentage.

9.Coordinate with the corporate customer support team “CCSU” to review the split amounts and obtain their concurrence according to Escrow Agreements terms and conditions.

10.Create the STP batch (or FT manual) to post the accounting entries by debiting the Escrow account and crediting the agreement parties’ account according to the agreement with the split narrative

11.Sending instructions to corporate loans operations processing to execute SWIFT if any to Escrow Agreement parties with the due percentage amount as agreed within the Escrow Agreement.

12.Split the refund amount after received instructions from the Corporate Customer Support Unit to debit the Escrow Account and credit the; (1) refund account (if any), (2) the customer account mentioned within the received instructions by generation of FT in case of CIB customer.

13.Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

14.Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs to ensure continuity of work.

Compliance

15.Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks.
