Working with our Corporate Governance Services (CGS) team, you will work with multinational clients to provide critical support that helps them meet the increasing regulatory and compliance requirements that shape the industry.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an Officer – C2S Governance & Board Support to join the Governance and Board Support team in Mauritius.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the governance framework of Citco entities globally by coordinating board and committee meetings, preparing governance documentation, maintaining statutory records, and ensuring compliance with governance requirements and best practices.

This role offers significant exposure to senior management, directors, and international stakeholders while providing excellent opportunities for professional growth within Corporate Governance and Board Support.

Key Responsibilities

Board and Committee Support

  • Coordinate and schedule Board, Committee and Management meetings across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, board packs and supporting documentation.
  • Attend meetings and draft accurate and concise minutes.
  • Maintain action trackers and follow up on outstanding matters.
  • Manage governance calendars and ensure meetings are conducted in accordance with approved schedules.


Governance Administration

  • Assist in the preparation of board resolutions, written resolutions and governance-related documentation.
  • Support the maintenance of statutory records and governance databases.
  • Ensure corporate records and meeting documentation are accurately maintained and appropriately filed.
  • Assist in monitoring compliance with internal governance standards and applicable regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with directors, senior management and global stakeholders to obtain information required for governance activities.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with global offices to support governance deliverables and projects.


Reporting and Data Management

  • Prepare governance reports and management information as required.
  • Maintain governance systems and repositories with accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Support data collection and reporting initiatives across the Governance function.

Projects and Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in governance-related projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Support process improvement activities aimed at enhancing efficiency and service delivery.
  • Assist with ad hoc assignments and team initiatives as required.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

  • Degree in Law, Management, Business Administration, Corporate Administration, Governance, Finance or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Corporate Administration, Company Secretarial, Governance, Legal, Compliance or Financial Services environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
