Job Summary
Lead the Corporate Planning Department at ITOCHU Singapore and the Asia & Oceania Bloc, managing HR strategy and operations to support the GM of HR and drive business performance across the region.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement management strategies, systems, and company rules aligned with corporate objectives to enhance organizational effectiveness
- Lead HR strategy and operations across the Asia & Oceania Bloc, including Singapore, to support regional business goals
- Communicate complex HR information clearly and effectively to management and colleagues with diverse experience levels across the Asia-Oceania Bloc
- Analyze HR data and business performance metrics to identify issues and recommend actionable solutions that improve organizational effectiveness
- Manage multiple HR projects simultaneously by applying self-motivation and strong problem-solving skills to meet deadlines and objectives
- Foster an inclusive, open-minded, and culturally sensitive work environment across multicultural teams to enhance collaboration and employee engagement
- Liaise with Japanese counterparts in the region and Japan HQ using business-level Japanese language skills to ensure smooth communication and collaboration
Required competencies and certifications
- JLPT N1 certification and ability to converse in business Japanese to liaise effectively with Japanese counterparts in the region and Japan HQ
