Corporate Project Controller

Summary

As a Corporate Project Controller, you will join our Corporate Project Controlling team and help ensure reliable financial reporting for customer projects across the Bühler Group. You will collect, validate, analyze, and report project financial data, support month-end closing, and create transparency on project performance. Working closely with finance, project, and IT stakeholders across the global organization, you will also take ownership of selected initiatives to improve controlling processes, tools, and data quality.

Job Responsibilities

• You support monthly and management reporting on customer project performance and contribute to accurate month-end closing.
• You collect, prepare, validate, and analyze financial data from SAP ERP, SAP Business Warehouse/Business Data Cloud, and other sources.
• You monitor budgets, forecasts, actual turnover, and gross results, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and communicate your findings clearly.
• You create reports, dashboards, templates, and management presentations and support Project Controllers and Project Managers globally.
• You lead selected improvement initiatives and help standardize, automate, and enhance project-controlling processes, tools, guidelines, and data quality

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, respectively any related field of study
• Experience in Project controlling, Project Management or Project commercial management is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail as well as a proactive and collaborative working style in an international environment
• Curiosity about AI and a willingness to explore how it can be applied responsibly in day-to-day project controlling work to improve analysis, reporting, data quality, and efficiency
• Advanced Excel skills as well as knowledge of SAP FI/CO; experience with SAP BW and SAP BusinessObjects reporting and dashboards are an advantage
• Fluency in written and spoken English, combined with the ability to prepare, analyze, and present data for reporting and management communication
