Handles corporate secretarial duties for private/public companies, VCCs, LLPs, and family offices, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining records, and supporting governance processes.
Job Description
Provide corporate secretarial and advisory services to clients, including private and public companies, foreign entities, VCCs, LLPs, and family offices.
Track statutory filing deadlines and ensure timely compliance with regulatory requirements.
Maintain statutory records and prepare corporate governance documents, including resolutions, minutes, registers, share transfers, and documentation for AGMs, EGMs, incorporations, restructurings, and striking-off.
Conduct KYC checks by reviewing onboarding forms and verifying client information for compliance.
Perform due diligence on new and existing clients to assess risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
Liaise with regulators, external legal advisers, auditors, and other service providers.
Respond to client enquiries via email and phone in a timely and professional manner.
Support and mentor junior team members within the corporate secretarial team
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field: Corporate secretarial / governance-related certifications or CSIS membership preferred
Minimum of 2 years of corporate secretarial experience in listed companies and family offices
Experience in family office, trust company, investment firm, or private wealth structures preferred
Good knowledge of corporate governance and statutory compliance requirements
Able to manage multiple entities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Able to multitask, work independently, and be a good team player
