Corporate Secretary
Summary
Corporate secretary managing statutory filings, compliance, and governance for local and international clients in Singapore.
- Handle a portfolio of local and international clients and support the delivery of corporate secretarial services.
- Prepare and file statutory returns and documents with ACRA, including annual returns, resolutions, share allotments and changes of directors.
- Maintain and update statutory registers, records and minute books in accordance with the Companies Act.
- Assist in company incorporations, striking-off applications and routine corporate actions.
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with clients, auditors, tax agents and government authorities on corporate secretarial matters.
- Provide advisory support on corporate governance and business structuring when required.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Law, Accountancy, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant corporate secretarial experience in a professional firm or corporate services provider.
- Good working knowledge of the Singapore Companies Act and ACRA.
- ACIS / CSIS / CPA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
- Experience in handling a portfolio of local and international clients will be preferred.
- Meticulous, responsible, and able to manage multiple deadlines independently.
- Proficient in written and spoken English; Mandarin is an advantage to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
