Corporate Security Officer, Lowell

Provide on-site security presence, monitor access and CCTV, patrol premises, and respond to incidents in a corporate environment.
Securitas Security Services is seeking professional and dependable Security Officers to support a premier corporate environment in Lowell, MA. This is an opportunity to join a professional security team focused on delivering safe, secure, and welcoming experience for employees, visitors, and clients.
In this role, you’ll serve as a visible security presence while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
Pay: $22.50 per hour
Schedule: Friday: 7am – 3pm, Saturday & Sunday 11pm-7am, Monday & Tuesday 3pm-11pm
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional and visible security presence throughout the property
- Monitor building access and ensure only authorized individuals enter secured areas
- Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols
- Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and other security technology
- Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns
- Assist employees, visitors, and vendors with questions and access needs
- Enforce site-specific security policies, procedures, and access protocols
- Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports
- Identify and report safety hazards, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns
- Support emergency response and evacuation procedures as needed
- Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous security, military, law enforcement, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete written reports
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license
