Corporate Security Operations Officer

Qatar Airways is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join our Group Risk, Safety & Security team as a Corporate Security Operations Officer based in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will oversee the physical security of Qatar Airways accommodation and commercial properties across Doha, respond to and investigate security incidents, liaise with law enforcement agencies and key stakeholders, and manage third-party security providers to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and the delivery of high security standards across all facilities.

Specific responsibilities for the role include:

• Respond to day-to-day facilities security requests from internal and external stakeholders.
• Investigate security incidents affecting QR accommodation and commercial buildings, including conducting interviews and coordinating with local authorities where required.
• Conduct security inspections of QR accommodation and commercial properties across Doha, providing recommendations and ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Oversee the physical security of QR facilities and coordinate the resolution of electronic security system issues with relevant departments.
• Coordinate security manpower arrangements for QR events and liaise with key stakeholders to support operational requirements.
• Review, update, and ensure compliance with facilities security SOPs and operational procedures.
• Monitor the performance of security personnel and provide regular updates to Corporate Security Management.
• Review and process security reports, checklists, and BAT reports through the QRISP security portal, ensuring timely resolution of identified issues.
• Maintain security records, including the SSP master list, monthly invoices, and facilities security documentation.
• Coordinate BAT machine maintenance and calibration with service providers to ensure operational readiness.
