Role Description

As a Corporate Senior Data Platform Engineer f/m at Medicover Polska, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable data platforms that support enterprise-wide analytics and reporting. You will work closely with data engineers, software developers, architects, and business stakeholders to build robust data pipelines, optimize data storage, and ensure high availability and performance of data infrastructure. Daily tasks include developing and reviewing code, troubleshooting complex data and infrastructure issues, monitoring platform health, and implementing security and governance best practices. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of data platforms by evaluating new technologies, automating processes, and documenting standards and procedures. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Warsaw, with a mix of on-site work at corporate locations and remote work from home.

Qualifications

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve data platform, performance, and integration issues.
  • Experience in software development and programming (e.g., Python, Java, or similar) for building data services, ETL/ELT processes, and automation.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure concepts, including cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP), networking basics, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with databases and data storage technologies (relational, NoSQL, data warehouses, and data lakes), including performance tuning.
  • Background in designing and maintaining enterprise data architectures, preferably in healthcare or other regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards, including access control and data protection practices.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional, international teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency in English; Polish language skills are an advantage.
