Corporate Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator (WSHC)

Summary

Coordinate workplace safety at construction and facilities sites, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist the WSH Officer in all safety related matters.

2. Responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing safety-related issues at the site.

3. Ensure all site works adhere to safety rules and safe work practices as well as safety legislation.

4. Liaise with project teams to conduct regular site inspections.

5. Identify any situation that is potentially unsafe and/or hazardous in nature, feedback to Manager and team, investigate and recommend any corrective actions.

6. Responsible for keeping records of safety-related matters and recommendation/administration of corrective measures at the site.

7. Able to handle the safety documentation such as Method of Statement, Risk Assessment, Safe Work Procedure, etc.

8. Prepare inspection reports.

9. Assist the WSH Officer in incident investigations.

10. Assist the WSH Officer in conducting safety time-outs and safety promotion events.

11. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

1. Certified with WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) or equivalent.

2. At least 2 years experience in M&E, construction and IFM.

3. Proficient in MS Office & Outlook.

4. Willing to travel to different sites.
