We are seeking a skilled Cost Estimator to join our team in Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction cost estimation and proficiency in various software tools. As a Cost Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects, analyzing project plans and specifications, and collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting. Key Responsibilities: - Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to prepare accurate cost estimates. - Utilize software tools such as Planswift, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and CostX to create and manage cost estimation models. - Conduct thorough market research to gather data on material and labor costs. - Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations. - Prepare and present detailed reports on cost estimates to stakeholders. - Monitor project costs and assist in budget management throughout the project lifecycle. Required Skills: - Proficiency in BOQ preparation and cost estimation techniques. - Strong knowledge of construction processes and methodologies. - Experience with software tools including Planswift, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and CostX. - Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications in both 2D and 3D formats. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
