Counselor and Case Manager
Summary:
The Case Manager and Counsellor serves as a vital link between survivors of gender-based violence and essential support services, working in close partnership with the Rainbo Centre team and external organizations. This role is dedicated to guiding survivors through their recovery journey by connecting them with specialized care that extends beyond the Centre's immediate capabilities. Key duties include managing follow-up procedures such as home visits, providing support during legal proceedings, and maintaining strong collaborative ties with partner agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a representative for the organization at required meetings and serve as a key liaison for administrative matters.
- Participate community engagement activities including stakeholders’ engagement, coordination meetings, school engagement.
- Support the management of office equipment including photocopiers, computers etc.
- Represent Rainbo Centre on internal management activities and partners activities including, training workshop and learning events.
- Provide direct support and care for adult and child survivors of gender-based violence, including counselling and basic case management.
- Participate in the survivor’s satisfaction, coping capacity and other research / assessments and studies on GBV and related topics.
