We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Professional Clinical Counselor to join our multidisciplinary team.

Position Summary

The Professional Clinical Counselor provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, individual, family, and group counseling services for clients experiencing mental health and behavioral health concerns. The counselor works collaboratively with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, case managers, school personnel (when applicable), and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive client care.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
  • Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings.
  • Coordinate care with community providers, schools, physicians, and referral sources.
  • Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, trainings, and agency meetings.
  • Meet productivity and documentation standards established by the agency.
