Counter Sales & Warehouse

We’re looking for a Counter Sales & Warehouse Associate who is energized by customer interaction and enjoys working hands-on with products and solutions. This role is primarily counter sales-focused, supporting our walk-in customers with product inquiries, order pickups, and quotes. While you'll also pitch in with warehouse operations when needed, this position is ideal for someone who is at their best working face-to-face with customers and building positive relationships.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Maintains good customer service skills while interfacing with customers on customer pickups.
• Provides customers with quotes, pulling customer orders and assisting customers with product inquiries.
• Pull orders for customer pick up and assist customers loading product as required
• Loading and unloading products in a safe and efficient manner using necessary tools, equipment, and skills, lift trucks, pallet jacks, etc., and may involve lifting and moving heavy loads
• Verify the accuracy of inbound receiving lists and receive product into inventory using the appropriate tools and systems, computer systems.
• Engage in warehousing duties such as picking/packing and/or storing of inventory, housekeeping duties, and product movement
• Order fulfillment with pick accuracy and reporting inventory shortages to management
• Key in transfers and receives transfers and orders.
• Assist in ordering products from store level vendors
• Assist in cycle count/inventory management responsibilities as assigned by the manager
• Assist the branch manager as directed
• Assist the Sales team as directed by branch manager
• Maintaining clean, safe work areas at all times
• All other duties as assigned
• May be required to drive company vehicle to pick up product from vendors

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Bilingual in Spanish required
• Prior sales/customer service experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Professional telephone and email skills/communication
• Demonstrates Customer-First attitude and behavior
