Entry level position at City Electric Supply in Waterford MI. This position can turn into a career. Many employees have been here for decades.
Position is 8-5 M-F and on average 1 or 2 Saturdays per month from 7AM-11AM. Saturday schedule is very flexible.
Job will mainly be delivering electrical materials to jobsites and picking up material from other stores. When not delivering, there will be work in the warehouse putting away stock, and general building maintenance. This position will eventually lead to working on the trade counter selling material to electrical contractors. In addition to the base pay there is profit sharing which is distributed 4 times per year.
No experience needed. We are happy to train you.
A typical day for this position would be driving locally 2-5 hours per day and the remainder of the day checking in material and putting it on a shelf. In between projects you will learn the different items we sell which will lead to a position on the counter and possibly future promotions. Future promotional opportunities can come with a vehicle and a fuel card as part of the package.
