Country Manager (China)

Responsibilities:

· Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with student recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and key accounts to establish a robust pipeline for international student recruitment in the China market.

· Recruitment and Marketing Campaigns: Lead student recruitment and marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and convert leads into enrolments, achieving targeted recruitment goals.

· Event Representation: Represent the institute at recruitment events and fairs in both Singapore and China, promoting programs and opportunities.

· Collaborative Marketing Efforts: Work with the Marketing and Communications team to plan and execute localized digital campaigns, recruitment initiatives, and marketing events tailored to the China market.

· Strategic Partnerships: Identify and develop new collaboration opportunities to enhance MDIS’s presence and reach within the China market.

· Performance Analysis: Regularly evaluate and report on the effectiveness of recruitment and marketing strategies, offering data-driven insights and updates on outcomes.

· Internal Coordination: Collaborate with student admissions and other departments to streamline processes for engaging with prospective students, alumni, and partners.

· Workshops and Campus Tours: Organize workshops and campus familiarization tours for agents, prospective students, and parents to showcase the institute’s offerings.

· Communication: Ensure clear and timely updates to students and parents regarding newinitiatives, operational changes, and other relevant administrative matters.

· Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on legal and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to standards set by Edutrust/CPE and other governing bodies.

Job requirement:

•Educational Qualification: A recognized bachelor’s degree in Marketing, International Business, or a related field.

•Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the private education sector, with a strong focus on student recruitment and expertise in the China market.

• Proven Expertise: Demonstrated success in managing recruitment campaigns, particularly with a focus on digital marketing strategies.

•Market Knowledge: Established relationships and recruitment channels within the China market are highly preferred.

• Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
