About the Company:
Our client is an international company operating in the textile industry, currently expanding its footprint in India. As part of its growth strategy in Asia, the company is looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Country Manager to lead its operations and development in India.
Job Purpose
As Country Manager, you will play a key role in establishing and growing the company’s presence in India. You will be responsible for driving business development, building local operations, and ensuring alignment with global strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the setup and development of the company’s business activities in India.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the textile sector.
Build and manage relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient execution of business strategy.
Coordinate closely with international teams and headquarters.
Provide regular reporting to the General Manager Asia.
Reporting Line
You will report directly to the General Manager Asia.
Experience: 08+ years of professional experience, with a strong background in international business development. Experience in the textile industry is a plus.
Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Autonomy: Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-growing environment.
Communication: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
International Outlook: Comfortable working in an international environment.
Languages: Fluent in English and French (mandatory).
