Country Manager – Malaysia (ITAD / IT Asset Recovery)

Salary: RM 350,000 – RM 400,000 per year

Job Responsibilities

I. Business Development & Market Expansion

1. Responsible for business development in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, focusing on developing recycling channels and partner clients in the following sectors:

   • Electronics/electrical appliance brands/OEMs (mobile phones, computers, home appliances, display systems, etc.)

   • Energy storage system and industrial equipment manufacturers

   • Plastic and rubber waste generators/recycling traders

   • Other new clients for additional business lines

2. Establish and maintain long-term cooperative relationships with upstream and downstream processors.

II. Operations Management

1. Fully responsible for the P&L of the Penang company, accountable for revenue, costs, and profit.

2. Formulate annual budgets and quarterly rolling forecasts; report business performance to the Group on a regular basis.

3. Achieve annual revenue and profit targets; manage Penang factory operations, costs, dismantling production, and logistics; oversee workshop, warehouse, and administrative team management.

III. Team Management & Organizational Building

Responsible for recruitment, training, performance management, and motivation of key local positions.

IV. Compliance & Safety Management

1. Ensure factory operations comply with Malaysian environmental regulations, employee safety and health regulations, and cross-border waste transportation regulations.

2. Promote safety culture and ensure zero major safety accidents and environmental violations.

Qualifications

1. At least 10 years of work experience in manufacturing/environmental recycling/renewable resources industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role (GM, Plant Manager, Operations Director, Regional Manager, etc.).

2. Familiar with the electronics/electrical appliance, power battery recycling, and plastic/rubber regeneration industries in Malaysia and Southeast Asia; experience working with OEM brands, battery manufacturers, dismantling plants, or recycled material buyers is preferred.

3. Possess business negotiation, contract management, and cost analysis skills.

4. Able to proactively solve problems with limited resources.

5. Excellent communication and coordination skills — able to manage expectations of multiple parties including clients, suppliers, team, and headquarters simultaneously.

6. Fluent in English and Malay; proficiency in Chinese is a strong plus.

3. 完成年度营收利润指标，管控槟城工厂运作、成本、拆解生产、物流，统筹车间、仓储、后勤团队管理。

三、团队管理与组织建设

负责本地关键岗位的招聘、培训、绩效管理与激励。

四、合规与安全管理

1. 确保工厂运营符合马来西亚环保法规、职工安全与健康条例及跨境废物运输法规。

2. 推动安全文化建设，确保零重大安全事故和环保违规。

任职要求

1. 至少10年制造业/环保回收/再生资源行业工作经验，其中至少5年担任高级管理职位（GM、厂长、运营总监、区域经理等）。

2. 熟悉马来西亚及东南亚的电子电器、动力电池回收、塑料橡胶再生行业者，或有与OEM品牌商、电池厂、拆解厂、再生料采购商合作经验者优先。

3. 具备商务谈判、合同管理、成本分析能力。

4. 能在资源有限的情况下主动解决问题。

5. 出色的沟通协调能力——能同时管理客户、供应商、团队、总部等多方期望。

6. 英语、马来语流利，掌握中文者为重要加分项。
