Country Manager Spain
You will represent the brand across Spain, develop its public presence, and build relationships within the local fintech and finance ecosystem. You will identify and activate valuable events, generate qualified leads through partnerships and visibility, and support major events with Spanish Account Executives. You will map the market, share insights with GTM and product teams, and report on leads, events, and partnership pipeline value.
Responsibilities
- Represent Spiko across Spanish media, conferences, and industry events
- Build local brand credibility and reputation
- Identify and attend high-value events and convert attendance into pipeline
- Coordinate with the sales team to deliver successful major events
- Generate qualified leads for Spanish Account Executives through partnerships and local visibility
- Collaborate with marketing to identify appropriate sponsorship channels
- Build and nurture relationships with chartered accountants, part-time CFOs, VCs, and other prescribers
- Increase local visibility through content and relationship-building
- Map the Spanish market and share market insights with GTM and product teams
- Track generated leads, attended events, and partnership pipeline value
- Report regularly to the General Manager France, Benelux, and Southern Europe
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or a market-facing role
- Experience in exceptional professional environments, typically tier 1 startups
- Existing network in the Spanish startup, fintech, or finance ecosystem
- Ability to represent a brand in media, on stage, and with prospects
- Ability to build a local presence from scratch and set an agenda independently
- Native Spanish proficiency
- Fluent English proficiency
- Ability to travel across Spain for events and to Paris at least four times per year
