Country Sales Manager (Indonesia, MY, SG)
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Country Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading LANDI's commercial growth across Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. You will own the country business by developing and executing the commercial strategy, driving revenue growth, expanding strategic partnerships, and building long-term relationships with key customers and channel partners. You will be in charge of developing a go-to-market plan with support from the regional/headquarter office, with a clear vision, mission, and action plan defined.
Key Responsibilities
MAINTAIN BUSINESS WITHIN NEW ACCOUNTS
- Achieve orders, revenue, margin, and collection targets set for POS, payment, and solutions business, measured on a quarterly budget basis.
- Develop close relationships with distributors, VARs, ISVs, and customers to increase account penetration (value-added services) for POS business segments: Payment, Mobility, ECR, etc.
- Follow up on customer orders, payments, and delivery end-to-end.
- Push for value-added sales: cash back, revenue sharing and solutions based.
- Provide regular market and customer updates and report to the Regional MD.
- Provide sales and business support to partners/customers.
- Manage and grow strategic customer relationships to maximize customer retention, account expansion, and long-term business opportunities.
BUSINESS DEVELOPEMENT
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy across Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore to achieve sustainable business growth.
- Develop closer relationships with local business partners and customers to create new business opportunities across the payment ecosystem.
- Identify and develop new market segments, strategic partnerships and revenue opportunities.
- Develop and execute channel partner strategies by expanding relationships with distributors, banks, acquirers, payment service providers (PSPs), fintech companies, ISVs and VARs.
- Assess market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to identify business expansion opportunities.
- Represent LANDI at industry conferences, trade exhibitions and customer events to strengthen market presence and brand awareness.
LEAD INTERNAL ACTIONS
- Be accountable for internal actions with other departments (Operations including supply chain, after-sales support, Technical/R&D, Legal, Marketing, Security, Finance, Treasury, etc.).
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure relevant and timely support for partners/customers.
- Act as the local point of contact for partners/customers and cascade internally for support needed.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful execution of commercial initiatives and customer projects.
REPORTING
- Prepare and submit regular reports: meeting minutes, trip summaries, monthly updates.
- Manage customer accounts and opportunities in Salesforce.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and maintain market databases.
- Provide monthly forecasts in Salesforce and contribute to communication plans (e.g., newsletters).
- Track projects, technical progress, and financial updates on a weekly basis.
- Provide regular business performance updates, sales pipeline reviews and strategic recommendations to the Regional MD/VP of APAC.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of sales or business development experience in the payments industry is required.
- Candidates should have an established network across banks, acquirers, payment service providers (PSPs), fintech companies, payment processors, distributors and channel partners, particularly within Indonesian market, given its priority within this territory.

- Experience with POS terminals, ECR solutions or retail automation is advantageous but not essential. Candidates with strong payment industry expertise will be preferred.
- Proven track record in business development, account management, and managing diverse business portfolios.
- Demonstrated ability to independently develop new markets, build strategic partnerships, and drive commercial growth within the payments industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships from scratch.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent English is required. Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and/or Bahasa Melayu is an advantage, given the role's regular engagement with stakeholders, distributors, and partners in Indonesia and Malaysia.
