CQI- Program Coordinator-Neurosurgery Research

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized CQI Program Coordinator for our Neurosurgery Research department in Detroit, United States. This role is central to supporting our research initiatives and driving continuous quality improvement across our neurosurgery programs. The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between research teams, clinical staff, and administrative leadership, ensuring seamless program execution and adherence to quality standards.

  • Coordinate and manage neurosurgery research programs, including scheduling, resource allocation, and timeline management
  • Support the development and implementation of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives to enhance research processes and outcomes
  • Maintain comprehensive program documentation, including protocols, data collection procedures, and regulatory compliance records
  • Collect, organize, and analyze research data while ensuring accuracy and adherence to data management standards
  • Communicate effectively with research team members, clinical staff, and external stakeholders to facilitate program objectives
  • Monitor program metrics and quality indicators, preparing regular reports and presentations for leadership review
  • Assist with regulatory compliance and ensure all research activities meet institutional and federal requirements
  • Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement workshops for research team members
  • Support the onboarding and orientation of new research staff and team members
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the development of solutions

**Required Skills and Experience:**

  • Proven experience in program coordination or administrative support within a healthcare or research environment
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in data management and analysis
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Familiarity with research protocols and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems

**Preferred Skills and Experience:**

  • Experience with Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) methodologies or quality improvement initiatives
  • Background in neurosurgery research or clinical research environments
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with statistical analysis or research data management tools
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Certification or training in quality improvement or project management
