I. OBJECTIVE / GENERAL DESCRIPTION
- Direct the activities of Craft, Specialty, and High-End brands to achieve sales related objectives.
II. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct, lead, motivate and develop department personnel including selection, performance management and employee relations.
- Develop, achieve, and monitor sales, distribution and draught placement goals and monitor performance results.
- Develop and execute sales promotions to drive volume, brand awareness, sampling and retailer relations.
- Develop, communicate, and monitor impact selling and incentive programs.
- Develop, implement and monitor Balanced Scorecard as it relates to all On-Premise Sales Departments.
- Select and retain a high functioning Sales and Marketing Team.
- Maintain proper inventory levels on Craft and High-End beers and communicating inventory to Team Leaders and sale personnel.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the annual business plan and wholesaler assessment program.
- Frequent assessment of sales and merchandising key processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiencies and retailer satisfaction.
- Establish and monitor quality control standards (product freshness, finished product loss).
- Develop and monitor sales and marketing expense budgets in conjunction with Director of Sales. Monitor and approve all expenses and complete monthly variance reports.
- Ensure compliance with all legal guidelines.
- To Build and maintain strong relationships with our craft breweries
- To call on and maintain Stein Distributing top craft accounts
- Scheduling of craft brewer trip in and out of Boise
- Educate the entire sales team on new items.
III. SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop craft relationship with chain accounts.
- Attend monthly and/or quarterly chain account call business reviews with KAM. Encourage chains to develop an improved craft presence with SDC Brands
