Craftperson A - Heavy Equipment Operator

• Operates cranes and performs associated rigging in support of refinery maintenance work. Required to certify in fixed
  and swing cab cranes.
• Operates forklift, manlift, backhoe, skid steer, manlift, scissor lift etc. in support of maintenance and operations activities.
• Performs inspection of cranes, rigging equipment, etc. and ensures proper documentation is maintained.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and equipment.
• Performs and or signs on Building Maintenance and Transportation related tasks as needed.
• Maintains accurate written records and utilizes SAP, Microsoft Office, Reviews SAP history for timely and accurate entry
  in SAP.
• Performs work in a safe manner and in compliance with all policies and procedures. Interfaces/communicates in a
  positive teamwork fashion with craft persons, operators, contractors, supervision and support staff.
• Demonstrates the ability to read and interpret crane lift plans, basic schematics, blueprints, and drawings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Is willing to work overtime when needed and be on-call during assigned periods.

This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.

The hourly rate for this position is $55.78 and represents Valero’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of expected compensation at the time of this posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications and experience.
