The Role and Responsibilities

EnerMech have a brand new opportunity for a Crane Maintenance Engineer to join our Lifting Solutions business line offshore. This is a permanent core crew position on a 3/3 rotation. You will be tasked with carrying out first line maintenance and ensuring crane integrity is maintained to current legislative, and manufactures recommendations. Other main duties and responsibilities will including the following:

  • Ensuring crane availability is attained to client specification
  • Carrying out planned maintenance routines ensuring spares & resources are planned and organised in a timely manner
  • Management of personnel and resources to ensure completion of work scopes in a safe and timely manner
  • Carry out maintenance repairs to offshore cranes in accordance with SSOW
  • Act as EnerMech responsible person for quality of work

The Requirements

You will have previous offshore supervisory/team lead mechanical experience with a survival, MIST and valid medical. It is essential that you hold an NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Certificate; or recognised apprenticeship. Previous Mechanical experience is also essential. It is preferred that you have previous experience working with cranes on or offshore.
