Crane Truck Driver with Aerial Platform

Caldererías Indálicas is an industrial company specializing in boilermaking, assembly, and industrial maintenance, with national and international projects in the energy, oil & gas, and renewables sectors. We are looking to hire a Crane Truck Driver with a 12-meter elevating platform for work at our biomass plant in Torrelavega (Cantabria).

What you'll do

• Driving and operation of the 12-meter crane truck with elevating platform in an industrial environment
• Lifting and positioning of materials, equipment, and industrial components according to instructions from the site team
• Support in assembly and maintenance tasks that require working at height
• Daily basic control and maintenance of the vehicle and the platform (levels, pressures, general condition)
• Detection and communication of equipment anomalies or incidents to the site manager
• Strict compliance with safety procedures in lifting operations and working at height
• Correct management of vehicle documentation and platform usage logs

What we're looking for

• Valid C + E driving license (essential)
• Valid CAP (Certificate of Professional Competence) (essential)
• Valid Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) operator certificate (essential)
• Trade course for self-propelled mobile crane drivers.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in driving and operating crane trucks with elevating platforms in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of safety regulations applicable to working at height and lifting operations
• Availability to work in Torrelavega (Cantabria)

Nice to have

• Previous experience in industrial plants: biomass, energy, industrial construction, or similar
• Specific training in lifting and slinging operations
• Current metal sector trade course
• Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance for industrial vehicles
