Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to assess their needs, lifestyle, design preferences, and budget requirements
- Develop detailed design plans, 3D models, sketches, and mood boards illustrating lighting, color schemes, and layout concepts
- Manage project timelines, procure materials, and coordinate with contractors, architects, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
- Create technical blueprints that comply with local safety regulations and building codes
- Conduct site visits during construction to monitor progress and verify adherence to design specifications
- Use AutoCAD, 3D Max, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace to produce and present design work
- Apply knowledge of color theory, spatial planning, materials, and furniture selection to enhance design quality
- Communicate design ideas effectively and incorporate client feedback through creative problem-solving
