Creative Designer
Summary
The Creative Designer will refine AI-generated assets, create original brand content, and redesign the internal AI Creative Studio interface. This role requires expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and generative AI tools to bridge the gap between automated output and high-quality brand standards.
Things you’ll do:
• Take AI-generated assets the last mile — retouch, recompose, correct and finish the work the Studio cannot get right on its own
• Develop original creative assets such as icons where generation falls short, or where an entity needs something genuinely distinctive
• Edit photography: retouching, colour correction, compositing, masking, and preparing assets across placements and aspect ratios
• Edit video: cutting and pacing, colour grading, motion graphics, titling and subtitling, and versioning across formats and channels
• Work across the needs of five entities — holding each brand distinct while keeping the family coherent
• Own and continually improve the Brand DNA for each entity: the structured system prompts behind each creative asset type
• Diagnose why a generation missed — the prompt, the reference set, the asset type or the brand definition itself — and fix the cause rather than only the output
• Build and maintain the reference libraries, style frames and exemplars that teach the system what good looks like for each brand
• Track brand adherence across generations, so you can tell whether a change to the Brand DNA actually improved the hit rate or just moved it around
• Review the AI Creative Studio’s existing experience and find where organic feature growth has cost clarity
• Restructure its information architecture, navigation and naming so the tool stays legible to people who use it occasionally rather than daily
• Redesign the key flows and interactions — generating, iterating, comparing, approving and managing assets
• Raise the visual desirability of the interface, and build and maintain its UI components consistently
• Prototype and test your changes with the people who actually use the Studio, and iterate on what you learn
• Partner with brand, marketing, distribution and the entity teams to understand what each of them needs from the tool
• Work with engineers to ship the improvements you design, and see them through to the quality of what launches
• Share what you learn about getting good output from generative tools, so the whole team gets better at it
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
Requirements
• Around 5 years of experience spanning creative production and digital product design
• Bachelor degree or diploma in Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Fine Arts or a related discipline, or an equivalent body of work
• A work portfolio you are ready to share and walk us through. We want to see finished craft and the thinking behind it — include at least one piece of interface design and one piece of moving image
• Fluency across the toolchain: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro or equivalents) and Figma
• Hands-on experience with generative AI creative tools, and a real feel for prompting, reference imagery, iteration and knowing when to stop generating and start editing
• The ability to carry a single idea across formats, aspect ratios, channels and audiences without losing what made it work
• An eye for accessibility and legibility — contrast, type size, caption and alt text — so the work reaches everyone it is meant for
• Self-motivated, with a strong sense of purpose: you see a problem and drive the improvement rather than waiting to be asked
• Collaborative and a good communicator — you can explain a design decision, and take feedback on your work without taking it personally
• A problem-solver who is curious about why something did not work, and patient enough to find out
• High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
• Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
