About the Role

The Creative Director at Together Hospitality is the visual conscience and content engine of the brand.

You own how all five brands look, feel, and show up in the world — across Instagram, events, campaigns, and every piece of visual output. From pre-production to final post, you are responsible not just for how content looks, but what it achieves.

We are a creative-first hospitality group. We don’t produce generic food content — we build worlds, tell stories, and create things people want to engage with. Your role is to ensure that standard is met every single day, across five distinct brands and audiences.

You live on Instagram, understand the platform deeply, and know how to create content that earns attention, shares, saves, and relevance — not just likes.

Requirements

1. Creative Direction & Visual Quality

  • Own and evolve the visual identity of all 5 brands

  • Act as the final quality gate for all creative output

  • Define what each brand should — and should not — look like

  • Maintain and update visual identity guidelines (typography, colour, photography, motion)

  • Ensure every piece of content meets a consistent, high standard

2. Content That Achieves Brand Goals

  • Ensure every piece of content serves a clear objective (awareness, footfall, engagement, relevance)

  • Champion performance-driven creativity, not just aesthetics

  • Eliminate generic output — every piece must feel unmistakably on-brand

  • Drive shareability and saveability across content

  • Keep all brands culturally relevant, not just promotional

3. Instagram-First Thinking & Content Systems

  • Bring deep understanding of Instagram behaviour, formats, and trends

  • Build a clear content framework across formats (campaigns, events, evergreen, community)

  • Ensure the content calendar is proactive, not reactive

  • Use performance data to inform creative decisions

  • Apply platform-native thinking to all content

4. Pre & Post Production

  • Own pre-production: shot lists, mood boards, styling, direction

  • Direct photographers, videographers, and freelancers on set

  • Define the visual and emotional tone of shoots

  • Oversee post-production quality: editing, grading, pacing, sound

  • Ensure final output matches the original creative intent

5. AI & Innovation in Content

  • Integrate AI tools into creative workflows (image, video, ideation)

  • Stay ahead of global content and production trends

  • Drive experimentation across brands (new formats, techniques)

  • Act as the team’s go-to for innovation in creative production

6. Team Leadership & Production

  • Lead the creative production team (design, motion, video, copy)

  • Translate strategy into clear, actionable visual direction

  • Manage freelancers across brands

  • Build a culture of craft, ownership, and continuous improvement

  • Ensure smooth workflow across multiple brands and deadlines

What This Role Does NOT Own

  • Content strategy or campaign ideation (owned by Creative Strategists)

  • Brand calendars, events, or collaborations (owned by Brand Managers)

  • Scheduling or community management (owned by Social Media team)

How You’ll Be Measured (KRAs)

  • Visual Quality & Brand Distinction – High, consistent, and clearly differentiated output across all brands

  • Content Performance – Work drives awareness, engagement, shares, and real outcomes

  • Content Systems & Execution – Strong processes and platform-native thinking

  • Production Excellence – High-quality pre and post production standards

  • Innovation & AI Adoption – Continuous evolution in tools and formats

  • Team Performance – Reliable delivery and visible growth of team members

What We’re Looking For

• 7-12 years of experience in Creative Direction, Art Direction, or senior design leadership
• Strong end-to-end production experience - from pre-production planning to final post-production delivery
• Experience leading and mentoring creative teams
• Ability to manage multiple brand identities without making everything look the same
• Hospitality, F&B, lifestyle, or luxury brand experience preferred

You should ideally:

• Live on Instagram and deeply understand content performance
• Know the difference between content that “looks good” and content that works
• Have experience building scalable content systems and workflows
• Be actively using AI tools within creative production and content creation
• Have exceptional visual taste across static, motion, video, print, digital, and environmental design

We’re especially interested in candidates whose portfolios show:

• Distinct multi-brand creative thinking
• Content that has generated engagement, shares, saves, press, or cultural relevance
• Strong art direction and storytelling sensibility
• A clear understanding of modern hospitality aesthetics and what should absolutely be avoided

Personality fit matters to us.

We value people who are:
• Visually obsessive
• Curious and innovation-driven
• Invested in outcomes, not just output
• Strong leaders without ego
• Collaborative, sharp, and deeply detail-oriented
