Creative Specialist

Job Overview:

The Creative Specialist is responsible for conceptualising and producing engaging visual and multimedia content across digital, social media, print and presentation formats. Beyond delivering approved creative outputs, the individual is expected to proactively generate and develop innovative concepts that strengthen audience engagement and communication effectiveness while remaining aligned with MMWSS’ brand guidelines, communication objectives, and stakeholder requirement.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Creative Collaboration and Strategy Integration

  • Integrate creative vision with marketing strategies to develop visually appealing work that drives measurable results.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas tailored to target audiences.

Campaign Implementation and Design Production

  • Implement creative concepts and strategies for campaigns into comprehensive, high-quality assets that align with marketing goals.
  • Produce presentations and design work across various formats, ensuring a polished and professional outcome.
  • Ensure all creative outputs meet platform-specific technical specifications for web, mobile, and social media.

Project Management and Timeliness

  • Oversee the production of creative assets, managing project timelines to ensure timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Work alongside Project Managers and/or Creative Strategist on design projects
  • Any other work assigned by Reporting officer or Management Committee


Job Requirements (Education,experience and skills):

  • Diploma or Degree in Art, Design, or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Able to creatively conceptualise and produce communications materials to engage the organisation’s target audience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and creative/design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Able to produce different types of design – graphic, editorial, infographics & brand identity
  • Videography, editing, and/or photography skills, and an understanding of digital marketing are a definite advantage
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritise and plan effectively
  • Resourceful and enthusiastic
  • Good team player
