Credit Analyst
As a Credit Analyst at Digitide Solutions Limited, you will play a vital role in our CLM Domestic BFSI department. Your primary responsibility will be to assess the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses, making informed decisions to mitigate risk and support our lending operations. You will work closely with our customer care team, providing valuable insights and recommendations to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Conduct thorough credit analyses, evaluating financial statements, credit histories, and other relevant data to assess credit risk.
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports and recommendations, highlighting potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the customer care team to understand customer needs and provide accurate information regarding credit assessments.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of credit assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, industry developments, and economic factors to identify potential credit risks and opportunities.
- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures, ensuring they align with the company's risk appetite and strategic goals.
- Review and approve credit applications, ensuring timely and accurate processing within established guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, risk managers, and legal teams.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, ensuring the company's credit assessment processes remain compliant.
- Provide training and support to junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit analysis or a similar role, preferably in the BFSI industry.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in credit assessments.
- Proficiency in using financial analysis tools and software, such as Excel and specialized credit analysis platforms.
