Credit Analyst

Summary

Credit Analyst performing corporate credit assessments, preparing review reports, monitoring portfolio quality, and reviewing credit documentation for a financial institution.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform robust credit assessments on corporate clients and credit proposals, including on credit rating, credit limit, detailed financial and non-financial analysis, structure of financing (e.g. financial terms/conditions, covenants) etc.;
  • Prepare clear and comprehensive credit review report and present the report for credit approval;
  • Monitor credit exposures to ensure portfolio quality, conduct periodic credit reviews, identify early warning signs and recommend risk mitigation strategies etc.;
  • Recommending ad-hoc trade requests based on approving authority;
  • Review credit documentation to ensure adherence to approved Terms and Conditions;
  • Other tasks as may be assigned by Head of Department.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor Degree in fields such as Economics, Finance, Accountancy etc. with a strong foundation in analytical, statistical and other quantitative techniques;
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in credit evaluation with large regional or global financial institutions;
  • Mandarin to liaise with Chinese speaking clients and stakeholders;
  • Others Excellent verbal communication and good interpersonal skills to handle stakeholders across multiple departments;
  • Proactive, energetic, result oriented and possess good business acumen and strong sense of risk awareness;
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
