Credit Manager - Secured Credit ( Siddipet )
Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Credit Manager to oversee secured credit operations in Siddipet. This role involves managing a portfolio of secured loans, ensuring credit quality, and adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Manage and evaluate credit applications for secured loans, conducting thorough financial analysis, risk assessment, and collateral valuation.
* Approve, decline, or recommend credit proposals based on established credit policies and risk parameters.
* Monitor existing secured loan portfolios to identify potential risks, delinquencies, and ensure timely repayments.
* Develop and implement strategies for effective recovery of non-performing assets within the secured credit portfolio.
* Ensure compliance with all internal credit policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
* Liaise with sales teams, legal teams, and recovery agents to facilitate smooth credit operations and collections.
* Prepare and present credit reports and portfolio performance analysis to senior management.
* Train and mentor junior credit officers and support staff as needed.
* Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and changes in lending regulations affecting secured credit.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification is a plus.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in credit management, with a strong focus on secured lending, preferably within a financial institution.
* Proven track record of managing a significant secured credit portfolio with excellent credit quality.
* In-depth knowledge of credit appraisal, risk assessment, and collateral valuation techniques for various secured assets (e.g., property, vehicles, gold).
* Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements related to secured lending.
* Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in financial modeling and credit analysis software.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Local knowledge of the Siddipet market and customer base is highly desirable.
