THE OPPORTUNITY

The Credit Operations & Reporting Specialist plays a key role in ensuring operational effectiveness and reporting accuracy of Credit Operations. This role exercises independent judgment in analyzing complex data, interpreting business impacts, recommending process enhancements, and influencing operational improvements across Credit Operations. Through collaboration with business leaders and Enterprise Data partners, the position helps strengthen credit risk management, data governance, and operational effectiveness. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Analyze and interpret key credit and operational performance metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that support business decision-making.
  • Evaluate data integrity issues to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems and recommend corrective actions to improve reporting reliability and operational effectiveness.
  • Design, develop, and maintain reporting frameworks, dashboards, and performance metrics that support business planning, risk monitoring, and operational oversight.
  • Assess existing operational processes and reporting methodologies, recommending enhancements that improve efficiency, controls, scalability, and data transparency.
  • Lead reporting and data-related initiatives that support organizational priorities and evolving business needs.
  • Translate complex operational and data findings into clear business recommendations for management and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a subject matter resource on Credit Operations reporting, data analysis, and operational performance measurement.
  • Evaluate the business impact of identified issues and recommend solutions that balance operational efficiency, risk management, and customer service objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and monitor the effectiveness of resulting changes.
  • Follow all established policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

    • 0-2+ years of experience in banking operations, credit administration, financial analysis, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
    • Experience analyzing operational data and developing recommendations that influence business decisions.
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and analytics tools.
    • Experience designing reporting solutions and performance metrics for business stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion when analyzing business issues and recommending solutions.
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate business implications to management.
    • Experience leading process improvement initiatives and managing projects with minimal supervision.

    SALARY RANGE

    The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
