Credit Processing Analyst

As a Credit Processing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our company's back-office operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and timely processing of credit applications and related documentation. You will work closely with our customer care team to provide support and resolve any queries or issues related to credit processing. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Process and review credit applications, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Verify and validate customer information, including identity and financial details.
  • Evaluate creditworthiness and assess risk factors for each application.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all credit processing activities.
  • Collaborate with the customer care team to address customer inquiries and concerns related to credit processing.
  • Monitor and manage credit processing timelines to ensure timely decision-making and communication.
  • Identify and escalate potential credit risks or fraudulent activities to the appropriate teams.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in credit processing.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of credit processing procedures and systems.
  • Provide regular reports and analytics on credit processing activities to relevant stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit processing or a similar role in the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment and management practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound credit decisions.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with credit processing software or systems is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
