Credit Processing Analyst

As a Credit Processing Analyst, you will play a vital role in our back-office operations, specifically within the CLM Domestic BFSI department. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze and process credit applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as you will be handling sensitive financial information. You will work closely with our customer care executives (CCEs) to provide support and guidance to customers throughout the credit processing journey.
  • Analyze and process credit applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Review and verify customer documentation, such as financial statements and credit reports.
  • Conduct credit risk assessments and make informed decisions on credit approvals.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes related to credit processing.
  • Collaborate with CCEs to address customer inquiries and provide timely responses.
  • Ensure timely and efficient processing of credit applications, meeting service level agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of credit processing activities.
  • Identify and escalate potential credit risks or fraud indicators to the appropriate teams.
  • Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide training and support to junior team members on credit processing procedures.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in credit processing, underwriting, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound credit decisions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, for data analysis.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial industry.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.
  • Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and best practices in credit processing.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
